🎬 Episode 72: “Return to the Beginning”

🇯🇵 Japanese Title:
始まりの場所へ
Hajimari no Basho e
Return to the Beginning

🎯 Theme:
The final journal entry leads Hana, Yuki, and the team back to the first hilltop where Aika once recorded the sky with a handmade telescope. The place has changed—trees have grown, trails faded—but the stars remain the same.

Buried beneath a flat stone, they find a metal capsule labeled “To Tomorrow.”

Inside:

  • A torn sky chart with three names circled
  • A blank cassette
  • A polaroid: Aika, smiling, holding a kite

Yuki brings out the recorder. Hana inserts the blank tape.

They don’t speak.

Instead, they look up—same sky, same breeze—and press record.

Aika’s journey ends where it began: not with an answer, but with an invitation.

“Now it’s your turn. Map the sky.”

📍 Setting:

  • Grassy clearing from Episode 1
  • Early dawn, pinkish sky
  • Small stone marker with moss
  • Birdsong and quiet wind
