🇯🇵 Japanese Title:
隠された星の名前
Kakusareta Hoshi no Namae
The Hidden Star’s Name
🎯 Theme:
After the meteor shower, Nao can’t stop thinking about Yoru no Shizuku.
She visits the school’s astronomy room to cross-check star charts again—and discovers something strange:
A tiny handwritten margin note on a decades-old chart:
“Unconfirmed anomaly – visible winter 2015, faded after 3 nights.”
The handwriting is unfamiliar… until she matches it to an old notebook left behind in the observatory library.
The notebook belongs to Aika.
It includes sketches of the sky, stargazing notes—and one entry titled:
「夜のしずく?」(“Yoru no Shizuku?”)
Nao is stunned.
This “star” she named… Aika saw it too, years ago.
They both gave it the same name, unknowingly.
When she tells Hana, the older girl’s hands tremble.
“She used to say some stars visit only once. Like memories.”
Now, Nao begins to wonder:
Was this light a star, a comet—or something stranger?
She writes in her diary:
“If memories can shine… maybe that’s what she left behind.”
📍 Setting:
- Dusty astronomy records room
- School observatory filled with old charts
- Hana and Nao looking over Aika’s journal
- Sky at twilight: no sign of the mysterious light… for now
