🇯🇵 Japanese Title:
送れなかった手紙
Okurenakatta Tegami
Letters Never Sent
🎯 Theme:
In the back room of the bookstore, Hana discovers a small wooden box labeled “To Be Mailed Someday.” Inside are several unsent letters written by Aika, addressed to people she never had the courage to reach out to again — friends she drifted from, a teacher, and one with no name, only “To the girl with kind eyes.”
One letter is unmistakably meant for Hana. It speaks of regret, of fear, but also of admiration for Hana’s spirit and the hope that someone would finish what she couldn’t.
Hana reads it under a skylight, tears falling onto the page.
📍 Setting:
- Dusty bookstore storage room
- Small skylight with sunlight cutting through dust
- A box of faded envelopes
- Quiet rooftop bench at dusk
