🇯🇵 Japanese Title:
キリマンジャロの陽
Kirimanjarō no Hi
Sunlight Over Kilimanjaro
🎯 Theme:
The team partners with a Kenyan university that once worked with Aika during a solar lens experiment.
They uncover an unused sun tracker on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro—originally designed to measure solar flare echoes. It’s been dormant for years… until today.
Yuki and a local student, Nia, hike to the station and restart the lens system. It clicks into motion.
The sun reflects through five prisms and burns an image onto paper:
Aika. Writing. Under that very sky.
“The sun writes too. But only for those who wait long enough.”
Nia finds her name in the old visitor log.
She was 7 years old when she met Aika.
Now she remembers:
“She said the sky needed translators.”
📍 Setting:
- Solar observatory on Mount Kilimanjaro
- Old metal sun lens tower, rusty but intact
- Warm African savannah under golden sun
- Field notebook pages charred with light
