🎬 Episode 63: “Signal in the Silence”

🇯🇵 Japanese Title:
静寂の中のシグナル
Seijaku no Naka no Shigunaru
Signal in the Silence

🎯 Theme:
Two days after Nao’s light-message, a teacher at the school—Mr. Tanimura, the physics advisor—mentions something strange:

“One of the old observatory’s automated satellite receivers picked up a blip—a micro-burst signal on an unused band. It lasted only 0.7 seconds.”

No one paid much attention… until Hana hears the timecode:
03:23:17
The exact moment Nao activated the rooftop reflection.

Intrigued, Nao accesses the archived waveform.
It looks like noise—until she overlays the star-code sequence she discovered in Aika’s notebook.

A match.

The pattern is crude, incomplete—but unmistakable.

The signal spells:
「続けて」 (Tsuzukete)
“Keep going.”

Shaken and inspired, Nao and Hana ask:

“Is someone—or something—sending this from beyond?”

The sky has gone quiet again.
But now… they know it can speak.

📍 Setting:

  • Dark observatory control room with blinking terminals
  • School rooftop with a breeze and faint night insects
  • Audio lab, where the waveform plays on loop
  • Flashback to Aika programming satellite routines

[Scene: Nao listens to the faint signal replaying.]

Nao (softly):
「…“続けて”。それだけ…でも、十分だよね。」

Hana (nodding):
「うん。まだ、何かが動いてる気がする。」
(Yeah. I feel like something’s still moving.)

🧭 Final Note:
The last line in the observatory terminal log:

「Echo received. Timestamp logged. Awaiting next entry.」
