🇯🇵 Japanese Title:
空は、もう私たちのもの
Sora wa, Mō Watashitachi no Mono
The Sky Is Ours Now
🎯 Theme:
A year has passed since the naming of the “Aika” star. The observatory, once abandoned, is now alive with laughter, telescopes, and field trips.
Hana, now a part-time astronomy instructor, welcomes a group of new young visitors. Among them: a shy girl named Nao, carrying a notebook labeled “Sky Diary.” She reminds Hana of herself—and Aika.
Yuki’s illustrated book, The Star That Waited, is now published. Children read it beneath the stars at storytime events hosted at the observatory.
One night, Nao hesitantly asks Hana:
“Do stars ever get lonely?”
Hana smiles, looks up, and replies:
“Not when someone remembers them.”
The legacy lives on—not just through one star, but through every new dream that begins beneath the sky.
📍 Setting:
- Busy observatory with children, stargazing events, and projection shows
- Library corner with Aika’s book, notebooks, and star charts
- A nighttime picnic under a telescope, constellations faint above
- Nao sketching the sky in her “Sky Diary”
